캔사스시티 한국학교 홈페이지를 찾아주신 여러분을 진심으로 환영합니다.

캔사스시티 한국학교는 1980년 설립된 이래, 지역사회의 어린이와 청소년, 그리고 한국어와 한국문화에 관심 있는 성인들에게 배움의 기회를 제공하며 성장해 왔습니다. 오랜 시간 동안 학교를 아껴 주신 학부모님과 교사, 자원봉사자, 후원자, 그리고 지역사회의 관심과 참여가 오늘의 한국학교를 만들어 왔습니다.

우리 학교는 한국어와 한국문화를 가르치는 교육기관을 넘어, 서로 다른 세대와 문화적 배경을 가진 사람들이 만나고 이해하며 함께 성장하는 공동체가 되기를 바랍니다. 한국계 학생들에게는 자신의 뿌리와 문화를 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 한국어와 한국문화에 관심 있는 지역사회의 모든 분들에게는 열린 배움과 교류의 장이 되고자 합니다.

앞으로도 이사회는 학교가 안정적으로 운영되고 더 많은 학생들이 양질의 교육과 문화 프로그램에 참여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다. 또한 지역사회 및 후원기관과의 협력을 통해 지속 가능하고 더욱 열린 교육 공동체로 성장해 나가겠습니다.

Welcome to the Kansas City Korean Language Institute.

Since its founding in 1980, our school has grown with the support of families, teachers, volunteers, donors, and community members who believe in the value of Korean language and cultural education.

Our vision extends beyond language instruction. We hope to be a place where people from different generations and cultural backgrounds can come together, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections. For students of Korean heritage, we provide opportunities to understand and appreciate their cultural roots. For members of the broader community, we strive to offer an open and welcoming environment to learn about Korean language and culture.

The Board is committed to supporting the long-term stability and growth of the school, strengthening educational opportunities for our students, and building partnerships with the Greater Kansas City community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to support the Kansas City Korean Language Institute, and we look forward to growing together as a strong and inclusive learning community.
